Your data at a glance
What data is processed, and why?
We store your name, email address and a password hash for your account, together with your saved sentences, favourites, memory aids and review data. This enables the account features you request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Without the required account data, these features cannot be provided; public pages remain accessible without an account.
Session identifiers and technical access data are processed to operate the service securely. The application stores hashed IP and email identifiers for login limits and a hash of the browser identifier for sessions. The hosting provider may also process IP addresses and access logs. The purpose and legitimate interest are preventing abuse and operating a reliable service (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
When you contact us, we process your message and contact details to handle your request. For account-related or pre-contractual enquiries, the basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; otherwise, it is our legitimate interest in responding under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The published contact address uses Proton Mail. When you email us, your message is processed through the email providers involved.
Hosting, email and Google sign-in
The website is hosted by Hostinger. When email verification is enabled, Brevo sends verification emails and receives the recipient address and message content, including the verification link. These messages serve account administration.
If Google sign-in is offered and you choose it, we receive an account identifier, your email address, its verification status and, where available, your name from Google. We use this data to sign you in and associate your account (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Google?s privacy information also applies to your use of Google.

Cookies and local browser storage
A technical session cookie supports sign-in and security checks. In the default configuration it expires after 30 days of inactivity; visits extend its lifetime. Logging out revokes the current session. Filter preferences are stored in local browser storage and can be removed in your browser settings.

Please use the contact details above. You may also complain to a data protection authority, particularly where you live, work or believe an infringement has occurred. A directory of European supervisory authorities is available from the European Data Protection Board.
The application does not make automated decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects.
